Overview

The Bachelor of Arabic Language and Literature offers students an immersive experience in the Arabic language, literary traditions, and linguistic analysis. Students develop reading, writing, speaking, and translation skills, enabling them to access Islamic texts directly and participate in academic research. The program includes modern and classical Arabic literature, Qur’anic Arabic, rhetoric, and linguistic studies. Special focus is placed on applying these skills to Ethiopia’s Islamic communities and academic institutions.
